13 травня 2015 року в м.Тлумач на базі Тлумацької районної державної адміністрації відбулась конференція, присвячена початку проекту NR 313/2015/PPR2015 «Впровадження рішень з використанням поновлювальних джерел енергії і покращення енергоефективності в Тлумацькому районі», який співфінансується Міністерством закордонних справ Респіблікі Польщі. Координатором проекту є Асоціація інновацій та трансферу технологій «Горизонти» (м.Жешув, Польща). Партнерами проекту виступають Івано-Франківський національний технічний університет нафти і газу, ГО «Агенція європейський інновацій» (м.Львів) та Тлумацька районна державна адмінстрація.
У конференції взяли участь керівник Тлумацької РДА, Тлумацької районної ради та міський голова Тлумача, голови селищ та сіл району.
З доповідями виступили представники Тлумацької РДА, польські координатори проекту (пан Казімієж Тушинські, голова Товариства Горизонти), Др.Роберт Шмуц, Жешувська Політехніка, п.Іван Кульчицький (президент ГО «Агенція європейських інновацій») та представники ІФНТУНГ (проректор з наукової роботи проф.Карпаш О.М., доц.Яворський А.В. та директор НДІ НГЕіЕ проф.Карпаш М.О.).
Особливою подією була передача ноутбука для демонстраційного консультаційного пункту в Тлумацькому районі з питань відновних джерел енергії. Передачу ноутбука виконала Перший віце-консул Республіки Польща у Львову пані Лонгіна Путка.
Загальною метою проекту є підтримка соціально-економічного розвитку у Тлумацькому районі, шляхом активації органів місцевого самоврядування до реалізації заходів щодо введення енергоощадних рішень для покращення енергетичної ефективності об’єктів громадського призначення.
Також в рамках проекту передбачені наступні заходи: робочий візит у Тлумацький район, навчальни візит на Підкарпаття (Польща), нарощування компетентності кадрів з ефективного управління енергією та використанням відновлюваних джерел енергії, створення Районного інформаційно-консультативного центру енергетики у Тлумачі, опрацювання Енергетичного профілю Тлумацького району, Eнергетичний форум у Тлумачі (Презентація Енергетичного профілю району).
